2019… What A Magical Year!

2019 really was a magical year for Fairy Nuff Photography as I made my dream into reality and opened my new, bespoke photography studio in Nottingham!

I never dreamed as I sat on my sofa on maternity leave with a young baby in my arms that I would one day not only be running a business, but that I would design and create my own photography studio, filling it with beautiful outfits and props and my own gorgeous wall art.

It was a year I welcomed more clients than ever! 84 Mums, Dads, babies, children and even fur babies! We created photographs they love in my new studio and outdoors in the stunning Nottinghamshire countryside. Click the video below to see more!

Baby Christmas mini session by Fairy Nuff Photography, Nottingham

I introduced some new concepts for my existing clients; mini sessions! These petite sessions are just perfect for updating walls and for gifts for family and friends. The mini sessions went so well I launched Winter themed mini sessions in October and November for new and existing clients! They were so popular I have already decided to do more in 2020.

Mini and themed sessions weren’t the only new concept launched in 2019. I was determined to come out of my comfort zone and try new projects, so when I was asked to try ballet dance photography I immediately said yes! I photographed an amazing young ballerina, who I know will do wonderful things in the future! I was rewarded with another Highly Commended award from the National Photographic Society for one of her images.

I also met Arlo and his friend the French bulldog Reggie, who came for a sitter session in the studio. Formal studio photography of dogs was something new for me and the boys were absolute stars for their session. I can’t wait to try more dog photography in the future!

Cake smashes continued to be ever popular and I had an amazing time creating bespoke sets for my little one year old clients! We had Peter Pan, Little Explorer, rainbow, fairies and colour themes too! Grey and yellow is ever popular for boys and girls!

We also launched our gorgeous wall art product range in 2019, after much research and testing. Our clients loved the sleek modern acrylics in round, rectangular and square formats, with their 100 year guarantee! Canvasses were elevated to wall art with beautiful archival grade materials and solid wood handmade frames, for those homes who enjoy a more rustic feel. We finalised our selection for prints and frames with beautiful multi aperture options, with handmade solid wood frames in a variety of styles and colours to suit all decors! Clients loved being able to design their frames during their ordering appointments, knowing that they can arrange their photographs to create just the right look for their homes!

So it was a busy year for Fairy Nuff Photography – lots of new products, innovations and projects, as well as welcoming back many returning clients and saying hello to all our new customers!

In 2020 we plan to establish ourselves as the studio that welcomes you, our customers. That is always open minded and will listen to your ideas and what you want from your session. The studio that collaborates and supports fellow local Mumpreneaur businesses and to build upon those working relationships we have already forged with organisations such as Bay Tree Holistic/Mama Baby Bliss Hucknall, Nuturing Mama, Little Signers Club (North Notts) and YogaBellies. Organisations that share our caring ethos.

Most importantly, we can’t wait to see you in 2020! So get in touch with any of the links below and let’s talk about how we can capture your family magic!
